Federalist Papers

James Madison wrote in the Federalist Papers #45 the following: "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on externally objects, as war, peace, negotiations, and foreign commerce, with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State." The Founding Fathers never intended for Washington to have so much control over her citizens.

Illegal entry

When some one enters your home uninvited with the intent of staying there-------that's trespassing and a crime. Why is it different when an illegal crosses the border into the USA with the intent of living here? Same thing! They are criminals!

Commentary

"The importance of this article will scarcely be doubted by any persons, who have duly reflected upon the subject. The militia is the natural defense of a free country against sudden foreign invasions, domestic insurections, and domestic usurpations of power by rulers. It is against sound policy for a free people to keep up large military establishments and standing armies in time of peace, both for the enormous expenses, with which they are attended, and the facile means, which they affiord to ambitious and unprincipled rulers, to subvert the government, or trample upon the rights of the people. The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the libirties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of the rulers; and will generally, even if these are succesful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them." Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States, 1833.

Ronald Reagan said......

"If we ever forget we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Ronald Reagan. Yes, he said many quotables, but none more profound.

II Chronicles 7:14

"If my people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 'Nuff said!

Assault Weapons

"A sword never kills anybody; it is a tool in the killer's hand.".........Lucius Annaeus Seneca,
4 BC - 65 AD

Fight? For what?

"A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of staying free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."........John Stuart Mill
